The Energy Group meets monthly at 68 Southall Avenue WR3 7LS on 3rd Tuesday at 7-30 p.m.

The meetings, which are open to all comers, are primarily a self-help and support resource for individuals trying to reduce domestic energy consumption for themselves or friends and neighbours.

Group members have experience implementing DIY Energy saving measures and have Equipment, tools and instruments available for free use.
Door Fan, Recording Thermometers and Hygrometers, and a collection of material samples.

The group supports and cooperates with Energy Tracers on an informal basis as a resource equipped for wider scale take-up of house energy surveys.

At present energy prices a case can be made for Domestic PV and battery storage, even without grants.
This will be a subject for further trial and analysis over coming months.

Promotion of larger scale energy generation and harvesting projects are on hold for the present but would be restarted subject to Group members’ interest.

We warmly invite you to join the Transition Worcester Energy Group to bring about these exciting changes.  Contact the Energy Group if you want to get involved or just come to our meeting.
