Worcester Gleaning Group

The Worcester Gleaning Group was formed in the summer of 2015 as an initiative between Transition Worcester and Feedback Global; with lots of continuing support from both groups and help from many dedicated volunteers, farmers/growers and recipients, the group has gone on to enjoy much success.
The aims of the group are to limit food waste at the point of harvest and to provide free quality food to those most in need; each event also offers an experience to volunteers that combines the opportunities to meet new people and contribute to a worthy cause, all whilst enjoying the great outdoors.
If you’d like to help out as a volunteer gleaner, or are a farmer or landowner with produce available for gleaning, we’d love to hear from you!
