Our “Make Money, Make Energy” event took place for the first time on Saturday 16th October, 2010 at Worcester Guildhall. Our plan is to make this a yearly event and we are already thinking about how to improve on this year’s.

The purpose of the energy event is to provide information and advice about the various ways that people can both save and make money, by making their homes more environmentally friendly.

Local installers and companies, as well as non-profit groups, including Transition Worcester, provide information on topics such as energy efficiency grants, feed in tariffs, the different types of renewable energy available, etc.

Talks during the day provide more information of those interested in finding out more about a specific type of renewable energy product and the costs and benefits involved.
