Summer Pruning Workshop
We have about 50 cordon apple trees at the Old North Stables; these are looking good with lots of new growth. They had a good blossom this year and there seems to be plenty of fruit, but these are still fairly new trees and we want to increase their fruit bearing capabilities. To do this we will do a summer prune to keep the trees in bounds but mostly to form more fruiting spurs. We will therefore be running a summer pruning workshop at the Old North Stables (Pitchcroft) on Saturday 21st July 2018, 11am until 2pm.
