Submitted by on Fri 28 September, 2012 – 9:33 am3 Comments

Come along to this fantastic event at Bishops Wood on Sunday 30 September, from 11pm until 4pm. The Great Reskilling will be a superb opportunity to see many different skills demonstrated, talk to the demonstrators and learn some of their art. There will be a wide range of skills represented – come along to find out more!

Entrance to the event is £4 for adults and £2 for children.

    Hi there
this looks lie a really exciting event – but as a non-driver there’s no way I can make it, no buses go anywhere near Bishops Wood on a Sunday!
Would love to attend more events in future – perhaps you could consider how people like me who can’t drive or cycle get to them?
    good luck with future events

    Hi Shepess,

Yes unfortunately Bishop’s Wood can be difficult to get to. The Friends of Bishops Wood are very supportive of Transition and had the idea of this event, which will work well in the space that they have. It is just a shame that it’s located where it is and that the public transport doesn’t run on a Sunday. I can’t attend myself so can’t offer you a lift – but maybe someone else reading this may be able to? Otherwise, hope to see you at other events in the future – Transition Worcester’s own events do tend to be in more accessible locations!

    Many thanks,
    Ruth

Thanks so much Ruth, sadly the occasional bus up that way was lost in the last council subsidy cuts. I’ve made other plans for tomorrow now. But certainly would have attended if I could
