energyshare – green energy tariff

Submitted by on Tue 31 May, 2011 – 2:00 pmNo Comment

‘Energyshare’ are providing an opportunity for everyone to buy electricity from renewable energy sources without it costing more pennies…

Energyshare is now offering British renewable energy at the same price as British Gas’ standard electricity tariff. Wondering where you’ve heard about the ‘energyshare’ project before – you may remember they’ve also launched the community fund so please vote to support Worcester’s Earthship project if you haven’t already, see an earlier blog post.

British Gas will also make an annual £10 donation to the energyshare fund for every customer who joins, to support the community projects.

If you want to find out more about the green tariff or other aspects of the ‘energyshare’ project, visit their website www.energyshare.com

Please note Transition Worcester is in no way endorsing British Gas or the green tariff, simply making people aware of its existence!
